Mask v2

It is a mask based on my first mask design.

I've made space for the nose which allows me to reduce the gap between the cheek and the mask upper edge.

I've decreased the thickness of the mask so the model is using less of the plastic so the printing time goes down.

Lastly I've designed the cartridge where you can insert the hygienic cotton wool pad (diameter 6 cm). Cotton wool could be treated with any antiseptic you like or you are using in your household. The cartridge is made this way so that you can easily change the insert for a new one. It is also possible to do the sterilization of the cartridge (use alcohol about 60% strong).

This mask is made to protect against drops of saliva and other possible splashes of water. Remember about all other precautions and personal hygiene because any of the masks on the market will not protect you a 100%. If you are using it, you are using it in your own responsibility.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

I advise you to print 0.2 mm layer height minimum

Print the cartridge flat-wise with the same layer height as the mask.

If you have any problem to fit a cartridge into it's place then print it 1mm smaller.
